Natural regeneration is going well
17/06/2010

Natural regeneration around unburnt forest patches and isolated Black pine trees is going well. This is the first outcome from the annual visit for the natural regeneration monitoring, held from 10-1/6/2010. In particular, densities up to 2 young trees/m2 were recorded in a distance up to 50 m from the unburnt trees. During this visit, scientists specialised in flora and vegetation from the University of Patras-Faculty of Biology, collected data regarding succession of vegetation.
